A slight odor is normal with this product, but it will dissipate within a few days after ventilation. It's important to be aware that the colors of the dark wood contact paper can differ slightly from one production batch to another. Therefore, we recommend calculating the size needed and purchasing enough rolls at once to ensure they come from the same batch, preventing any noticeable color discrepancies.

Although the dark wood wallpaper can withstand temperatures up to approximately 155°F, it is best to avoid placing hot pans or objects directly onto the surface. Instead, use a table mat or other protective barrier to prevent any potential marks or damage to the wood-textured wallpaper.

To ensure a successful application, please follow these steps:

1. Thoroughly clean, smooth, and dry the surface where you plan to apply the dark wood wallpaper.
2. Measure the area that needs to be covered, then use the grid lines on the back of the paper to cut the film to the desired size.
3. Peel off a small portion of the backing, being careful not to remove the entire backing all at once.
4. Carefully position and adhere the paper to the surface, using a cloth or even a sock to smooth it out from the center to the edges. (Having two people work together, one holding the top and the other unrolling and sticking, can be beneficial.)
5. Trim any excess dark wood wallpaper, and enjoy your newly transformed surface!

For installations in corners or on curved areas, we recommend using a hair dryer to gently heat the contact paper, allowing it to bend more easily around the edges. Be sure to keep the hair dryer at least 3-4 inches away to avoid melting the material.
